Service Enquiry 2003 and Service Enquiry 2007 are supported by Innovations in Civic Participation, which is funded by the Ford Foundation, USA. Innovations in Civic Participation is a non-profit organisation that supports the development of innovative, high-quality youth civic engagement policies and programmes both in the USA and around the world. ICP is a leader in the global movement to promote sustainable development and social change through youth civic engagement.
The Center for Social Development
Service Enquiry is indebted to the Center for Social Development at Washington University in St. Louis, Miss. USA, for the financial and staff support provided for the design, development and production of Service Enquiry, and development of the VOSESA website.
The Inter-American Development Bank
Service Enquiry 2007 received support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The IDB is the world's oldest and largest regional development bank. It is the leading source of multilateral financing for Latin America and the Caribbean. The IDB partners with countries to combat poverty and promote social equity through programs tailored to local conditions. Working with governments as well as with the private sector, the Bank seeks to achieve sustainable economic growth, increase competitiveness, modernize public institutions, and foster free trade and regional integration.The Bank also seeks to take a lead role on cross-border issues like trade, infrastructure and energy.
The Inter-American Development Bank Youth Development and Outreach Programme (IDB YOUTH) promotes the active involvement of youth in the development process. By establishing alliances with the public and private sectors, non-governmental organisations and young people, the programme helps create opportunities for youth to play a leading role in improving their societies.
