The Global Service Institute is a long-term project to study, inform and assist in the development of service worldwide. It supports research,runs a web-based information network and supports innovations in policy and programme development.
The Inter-American Development Bank
Service Enquiry 2007 received support from the Inter-American
Development Bank. The IADB is the world's oldest
and largest regional development bank. It is the leading source of multilateral
financing for Latin America and the Caribbean. In its four decades of
operations, the Bank has played a pivotal role in contributing to the
Latin America and the Caribbean region's progress by financing projects
that have helped reduce poverty levels and improve and expand access to
education, health services, drinking water and sanitation, housing and
basic infrastructure for millions of people.
The Inter-American Development Bank's Youth
Development and Outreach Program (IDB YOUTH)
The
Inter-American Development Bank Youth Development and Outreach Program
promotes the active involvement of youth in the development process. By
establishing alliances with the public and private sectors, non-governmental
organisations and young people, the programme helps create opportunities
for youth to play a leading role in improving their societies.
